After five lead changes in Tuesday’s game at South Christian Sports Park, South Christian Sailors finally pulled out a 6-3 win over Hamilton .

South Christian Sailors took the lead in the sixth inning and held on for the victory. An error in left field gave South Christian Sailors the lead for good.

Jake Ritsema worked out of tough situations for South Christian Sailors . He pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run on two hits. Jake Ritsema faced his trickiest spot in the fifth inning but was able to get a couple of big K’s to get out.

Overbeek took the loss for Hamilton . He lasted 5 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed five runs.

South Christian Sailors jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the second. South Christian Sailors ‘s rally started when Ryan Doorknobs singled after an 11 pitch at bat. Then Brady Vis moved Ryan Doornbos from first to second. Isaiah House singled, scoring Ryan Doornbos.

South Christian Sailors didn’t give up the lead after the sixth inning. Additional runs came from an RBI double by Josh Post off the bench and an RBI single by Jake Ritsema.
