**Dozens of former South Christian players attended the game on Friday night to honor Coach Jim DeBruyn’s 400th win.   Several stayed for the post-game photo with the current team

**On Saturday morning following the win over CC, the team was featured on the Meijer High School Basketball Show on ESPN96.1 with host Rick Berkey.  The live show was held at Celebration Cinema North.  Coach Jim DeBruyn along with captains Angelique Gaddy and Anna Timmer were interviewed by Berkey.

**South Christian, 7-1 in the conference and 17-1 overall, is currently ranked seventh in the AP Class B state poll.   The Free Press rankings have the Sailors in the same position.

**South Christian will own at least a share of the league crown with wins over Ottawa Hills and Hastings this week.  Meanwhile, Catholic Central and Wayland, both 6-1 in the league, meet twice this week (Monday and Friday).

**Tuesday’s game with Ottawa Hills begins at 7pm and is the final regular season home game.  Senior Night will honor Gaddy, Timmer, Sam Burgess and Kayla Diemer in their final home game.

**Timmer will be featured this Wednesday on WZZM as the station’s Scholar Athlete of the Week.
