JV Boys traveled to West Catholic High School to open conference play Tuesday night. Sailors won the contest on the road in convincing fashion, topping the falcons 62-30. Led early by a tremendous rebounding effort by Cam In'tHout, the sailors were able to capitalize on 2nd chance points and open up a 14-2 lead after the first quarter. The defense stayed intense throughout the frame as the sailors took a 26-11 advantage into halftime. In the third period, the game lead really started to stretch midway through the quarter as the five players off the bench really provided the spark open things up. All 10 players contributed to the win, highlighted by a game-high 14 points from Cam In'tHout. Tyler Krosschell joined in double digits with 10. Sailors are 1-0 in conference and improve to 6-2 overall. Sailors are back in action Thursday night at home against Northview. Tip is slated for 5:30pm.
