The JV boys started out their 3-game week with a nice win against Lowell on Monday night. The sailors brought great energy and let their defense lead the way to the victory. The sailors used some hot shooting to start the game to jump out to a 25-9 first quarter lead. The sailors then settled in defensively and held the Red Arrows to 6 points in each of the 2nd and 3rd quarters to take a commanding lead in the contest and they never looked back winning 68-31. Brody Shilts and Joe Maas each contributed 14 points each and 9 of the 11 players scored on Monday night. The sailors look to keep the momentum going Tuesday night in the middle game of a boys triple header at Wayland High School, 5:30pm.
