The South Christian Girls Varsity Basketball team won a 52-50 thriller over Rockford on Thursday night to finish the regular season a perfect 22-0. The Sailors got down 23-7 to begin the game but continued to fight back and made it all the way back to win the game. Senior, Sophia Prins had a game high 24 points including 5 triples. She also scored the game winning basket with a layup late in the game. The Sailors will take on either Godwin Heights or Unity Christian on the District Semifinals next week Wednesday at 5:30pm at South Christian. Go Sailors!
