The South Christian Boys Varsity Golf team headed to the campus of Grand Valley State University on Friday and Saturday of this past weekend to participate in the Division 2 State Finals at The Meadows. The Sailors were in contention after the Day 1 as they were only 11 shots off the pace. Day 2 was an up and down day overall for SC and the boys ended up finishing 4th overall in Division 2 after the 36 holes with a team total of 622 which ended 20 shots in back of Cranbrook Kingswood who won the event. The Sailors were led by Harris Hoekwater who finished 5th overall with a two day total of 144. Congratulations to Coach Cook and our athletes on a great season. Go Sailors!
