Golf Wins Northpointe Invitational

Placed in Division II, the sailors pulled out a close victory over their rivals Catholic Central.  Led this time by Josh Riemersma and Kade Hoeksema, each shooting an 81, the sailors finished third overall (334).  Nick VanderHorst shot an 81 and Johnny Kendall shot an 89.  The Sailors will now get back to league play

Sailor Golf finishes in 2nd place at the Christian School Invitational

Led by Kade Hoeksema (77), the sailors finished with a score of 312, losing to GR Christian by 9 (303).  Northpointe Christian and Calvin Christian finished tied for third with a 344.  Nick Vanderhorst finished with a solid 81.  Josh Riemersma (84) and Seth VanEngen (92) combined to shoot a best ball score of 75.

Anna Timmer threw 10 strikeouts in seven innings to help South Christian top host Caledonia 1-0 on an OK crossover game on Monday. Amanda Nichols led South Christian with two hits, while Abby Colon contributed one hit and one RBI. Whitney Denton struck out six and gave up four hits in seven innings for Caledonia.

JV Soccer Nets 1st Road Win

After netting two great victories on their home field, the JV Soccer team finally chalked up a ‘road win’, shutting out the Catholic Central Cougars 3-0.
