Girls Varsity Basketball advances to Regional Finals by downing Catholic Central for the third time this season

The Girls Varsity Basketball team’s 46-33 win over Grand Rapids Catholic Central on Tuesday night at Middleville has earned the Sailors a spot in Thursday’s Regional Finals at 7pm against Ionia in Middleville. Great SC bowling this weekend

Competitive Season Comes to an End for Boys Freshman BB team

The Sailors Freshman team lost a tough game at Wayland to end the season on Wednesday February 27th.  The Sailors lost by 1 point 44-43 after leading by 3 with less than a minute left.  Ty Brinks led the team in scoring with 10 points.  Chase Brink and Ryan Rearick led the team in rebounds

Girls Varsity Basketball shuts down Kelloggsville to win District Championship

While Wednesday’s   semifinal showdown between South Christian and  Wayland matched the district’s top two teams, Friday’s 57-15 blowout of  Kelloggsville was still a sweet win for the Sailors.   The victory marked another accomplishment for the 21-1 OK Gold Champs and sends them into Tuesday’s 8pm regional semifinal at Middleville against Grand Rapids Catholic Central.

Both Bowling teams in Final Four

Both the Boys and Girls bowling teams are competing in the State Finals today in Jackson, MI.  After 8 baker games and 2 individual games, the top 8 teams (out of 18) advance to match play.  The boys finished 6th and the girls finished 5th.  In the first round of the match play, both team
