That score is not a typo! A big night at South Christian went down to the wire more than once. The first quarter South got out to a 5 point lead and it looked like a regular South/Wyoming game. Wyoming caught fire in the 2nd period scoring 33 points in that quarter alone. 24 of those points were off 3 point shots. Draper scored 46 points for the Wolves and could have had more but he fouled out in the 1st overtime. South Christian shot just 2 out of 12 from behind the arc while Wyoming went 16 for 28 from deep. South Christian found themselves down 4 with only 16 seconds remaining and Wyoming had the ball. Two quick steals and two layups tied it up in the 1st overtime. Many key players fouled out late and South was able to pull away in the 2nd overtime but not without the help of freshman Jake DeHaan. He had the game of his life scoring a game high 48 points. Jack Schreur also had a monster game scoring 33 points. Many players contributed in huge ways making big plays down the stretch in getting South Christian a victory they’ll never forget.
