South Christian won 92-72 against Wyoming on Thursday with the help of Connor Dykema, who scored 21 points.
With a powerful 25-point second quarter on the strength of a 14-3 run, South Christian Sailors JV pulled ahead and eventually garnered a 49-37 lead by halftime.
Dykema paved the way for South Christian, making 60% (9-for-15) of shots attempted while also sinking 75% (3-for-4) of free throws attempted.
Five other players also added ten or more points for South Christian. Ryan Dykstra contributed 13 points, Josiah Kruitoff put up 12 points, Sam Meengs scored 11 points, and Evan Rodema had 10 points. Hudson Oetman put up three three-pointers and scored 11 points total. Also helping the effort for South Christian were Adam Rearick (7 points, 5 rebounds), Daniel Young (5 points), and Parker Johnson (2 points, 3 rebounds).
South Christian finished the game with 36 rebounds (8 offensive / 28 defensive), three blocks and 10 steals.
