Friday night the Lady Sailors traveled to Ottawa Hills resulting in a 71-26 win. Team defense was key in that game, the Sailors forced 27 turn overs on Ottawa Hills which resulted in 26 of our points. We shot almost 80% from the line with 19/24 free throws made. Every player saw the floor and every player scored and rebounded. Syd Vis led all scorers with 19 points, she also had 8 rebounds. Addyson VanSolkema led the team in defense with 10 deflections and 6 steals, she also added 4 points to the board. Josie Vink and Taylor Newhoff added 8 points each and combined for 11 rebounds and 8 steals. Ashley Raredon had 9 points, Maria Schrotenboer added 7 points and 4 rebounds. Ashley Thomasma had 5 points, Sailor Holstege had 4 points, Maddie Helmus had 3 points and Lexi Burgess and Brynna Morren each contributed 2 points.

The team faced a quick turn around as they squared off against Holland Christian on Saturday evening.
