In game two of the double header, Covenant once again scored in the first inning, but it could have been much worse. With one out and the bases loaded, the Covenant right fielder hit a fly ball to right field. Annie Schreur made the catch in right and fired the ball home to double up the tagging runner and end the inning.
South added a run in the bottom of the first on a Sydney Vis triple. The teams each scored single runs in the second and South took the one-run lead in the third, thanks to an RBI single by Aly Tanis. Covenant tied the game in the fourth, and then after South regained the lead with a run in the fifth, Covenant scored three more in the sixth for the 6-4 lead.
However, South bounced back scoring five more runs in the bottom half with hits by Aubrey Vredevoogd, Ella Koster, Sidney Nyenhuis, and Aly Tanis. After a scoreless seventh, South walked away with the 9-6 win and a split in the double header.
