Varsity Girls Golf team earns first place at the O.K. Gold Jamboree

Today’s jamboree was played at Cascade Country Club.  The rough was tough, the greens were even tougher and the weather was not ideal.  The team rose to the challenge and had a total team effort to earn first place on Grand Rapids Christian’s home course.  Leading the team and earning medalist honors was Maddie Wierenga

Varsity Girls Golf team back on top at O.K. Gold Jamboree

The girls used their home course experience today at Railside Country Club to earn a first place showing at the O.K. Gold Jamboree.  It was a total team effort and the girls were very happy to be in first place again.  The team total was 173 and TK Middleville earned second place shooting a 191.

It was a very hot day on the golf course at Maple Hill and the Lady Sailors ran into a very hot TK Middleville golf team who won their first jamboree of the season shooting a team low of 160.  Maddie Wierenga earned medalist honors with an impressive 36.  The rest of the team scores

It was a picture perfect day for golf and the Lady Sailors put together a total team effort to dominate the Jamboree at Orchard Hills Golf Club.   The team total was an impressive 163; the lowest of the season thus far.  Highlights included an even par round from Natalie Samdal who was medalist once again,

The Varsity girls golf team started the week exactly where they left off:  staying on top of the O.K. Gold Conference.  The girls played at TK Middleville’s home course, Yankee Springs, and pulled out a victory by only 7 strokes.  Natalie Samdal earned medalist honors shooting a 40.  Sara VanSolkema kept up her steady play

Varsity Girls Golf team wins first O.K. Gold Jamboree

The girls Varsity golfers started their conference play today at Egypt Valley Country Club and won by 20 strokes.  Natalie Samdal was medalist with an even par 36 and had 2 birdies to highlight her round.  Ashley Keen kept her strong play going with an excellent 42.  Sara VanSolkema shot a 49 and rounding out

Varsity Girls Golf defeats Calvin Christian 168 vs. 229

The heat was on the golf course today for the Lady Sailors who shot their best nine hole team score of the season.  The Varsity girls golf team beat Calvin Christian and had hot rounds by many of the girls.  Medalist honors today went to Junior Maddie Wierenga who shot a 40 with a birdie. 

Varsity Girls golfer falls to Caledonia

The girls Varsity golf team ran into a Division 1 powerhouse, Caledonia, today and lost 183 to 205. Tomorrow the girls are back on the course (weather permitting) and play at Cascade Country Club for their first OK Gold Jamboree of the season.
